Mandatory ACI Pre-Registration: Since 2021, all goods imported into Egypt must be pre-registered on the Egyptian NAFEZA platform before shipment to obtain an ACID number, which must be indicated on all shipping documents. This is a fundamental prerequisite for customs clearance.
